Now the BBC - (a.k.a. 'Kol Israel' - http://www.kol-israel.com/) again is stooping so low as to make and fake still more own so called 'news'.
BBC sent hecklers to bait Tories - April 25, 2005
The BBC has been plunged into an election row after it admitted equipping three hecklers with microphones and sending them into a campaign meeting addressed by Michael Howard, the Conservative Party leader.
The Tories lodged an official protest after the hecklers, who were given the microphones by producers, were caught at a Conservative event in north-west England last week.
Guy Black, the party's head of communications, alleged in a letter to the BBC that the hecklers began shouting slogans that were "distracting and clearly hostile to the Conservative Party".
These included "Michael Howard is a liar", "You can't trust the Tories" and "You can only trust Tony Blair".
Mr Black's strongly worded letter accused the BBC of staging the event "to generate a false news story and dramatise coverage ... intended to embarrass or ridicule the leader of the Conservative Party". The letter said BBC staff were guilty of "serious misconduct".
The BBC said the exercise was part of a "completely legitimate program about the history and art of political heckling", and other parties' meetings were being "observed".
The Tories have called for an apology and an assurance that no such incident will occur again. The party also demanded that the BBC promise never to broadcast the footage. The corporation said it would investigate "very fully".
The hecklers were under direction from a BBC team making a program called The History of Heckling for the BBC3 channel. The program is in the process of being edited.
The Labour Party is still on course for a third term, opinion polls at the weekend said.
A YouGov survey predicted Labour would take 37 per cent of the vote, the Conservatives 33 per cent and the Liberal Democrats 23 per cent.
A poll by ICM in The Sunday Telegraph put Labour on 39 per cent, the Conservatives on 33 per cent and the Liberal Democrats on 21 per cent.
