Shalom Ekky!

Where did you get the crap about anti-semitism from?

Or was it just a 'slip-of-the-mind'?

Nothing in the article points in that direction and I quote Harvey Wasserman, who as far as I know, is not a 'goy'.

There is however absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Israeli Defense and Special Forces - under orders of the Sharon government - are daily committing 'crimes against humanity', as any avid reader of the well known Israeli newspaper H'aaretz knows.

I've seen Eichman in court in Jerusalem, and I hope Sharon and his followers - like Bush and his neocons in Washington - will sit there one day soon.

According to all international laws and conventions they are war criminals, and their 'holocausting' - the genocide of the Palestinians - is an enormous crime and a shame on the victims of Hitler which now do upon others what has been done unto them.

Palestinians have their own 'Yad Vashems'; they carry it in their hearts.

I've never in the world - during more than four decades - met anybody who understands this.

I've also lived and worked in the North Africa and Middle East area for ten years, as an independent foreign correspondent, so there's quite a chance that I'm right about what I'm saying. Among many country's media, also the BBC and CBS thought for a while - when they still worked in journalism, before becoming propagandists - that my views were worth paying for.

The truth is however, that for the past decades the US armed forces as well as the Israeli armed forces and different secret services have been taken over by malafide people, and many of them at present - and openly - have a much too big influence on the US power, and are misusing it.

If for instance today people everywhere would understand who prints their funny money (FED) and how and by what people their banks and warmongering companies run the system and make $billion profits, those profiteers probably would be dead soon.

The Israeli tail wagging the American Dog (of War) is forcing ahead to a Hara Kiri, a kind of Massada, probably like a new Holocaust for the people of Israel. All those who have not protested or criticized the Israeli governments and their misdeeds are, according to the law, 'guilty by association'.

Last question: during 4 decades I've lived in a couple of countries on a couple of continents and never given the idea a thought about who is black, green, yellow purple or white, or whatever religion they had.

People are either OK, or they are not. Easy enough.

Now tell me: how come that in all those years in all those countries - with all those different people - I've never met anybody who said he or she 'liked jewish people' or that they were welcome to their country?

Best man at my wedding was a Jewish American War veteran (W.W.II) - Gary Aron - and we never found an answer to that question.

The closest we got was: either the people in all the other countries are wrong, or, and that is the logical part of it: maybe the 'People of Judah' should make an effort and do something about their behavior.

Personally I think they should, before again the tide is turning. It always does, you know?

Maybe it's a good thing to think about this, what Colin Powell said: ''It is not anti-Semitic to criticize the policies of the state of Israel' - Said as 'US Secretary of State' in a speech at the 'Conference on Anti-Semitism of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe' German Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Berlin - April 28th - 2004 - Url.: http://tinyurl.com/22p6c

British lawmaker: Iraq war was for oil

by Adam Porter in Lisbon

MEACHER BELIEVED THE IRAQ WAR WAS FOUGHT TO CONTROL SUPPLIES

Labour politician and former UK environment minister Michael Meacher has slammed Prime Minister Tony Blair and US President George Bush for starting a war, he says, to secure oil interests.

Speaking on Friday on the sidelines of the fourth International Workshop on Oil and Gas Depletion in Lisbon, Portugal, Meacher, a member of the British parliament, said: "The reason they attacked Iraq is nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction, it was nothing to do with democracy in Iraq, it was nothing to do with the human rights abuses of Saddam Hussein."

When asked by Aljazeera.net whether the war in Iraq was about oil he said: "The connection is 100%. It is absolutely overwhelming."

Meacher connected the wars in Iraq with a desire by US and UK interests to dominate oil supplies in times of increasing market volatility. He also thought the war was designed to pressure Saudi Arabia, the world's biggest oil supplier.

Middle East control?

"It was principally, totally and comprehensively to do with oil," Meacher continued. "This was about assuming control over the Middle East and over Iraq, the second largest producer and also over Saudi Arabia next door.

MEACHER CRITICISED BUSH AND BLAIR FOR GOING TO WAR FOR OIL INTERESTS

"It was about securing as much as possible of the remaining supplies of oil and also over the Caspian basin, which of course is Afghanistan."

MEACHER ALSO SAID THE US HAD POOR ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS.

"American power plants waste more energy than is needed to run the whole Japanese economy," he said. "They have set their face against the Kyoto protocol."

He then went on to talk of "apocalyptic" energy problems facing the world, including the possibilities of serious shortages in the world oil supply due to ongoing field depletion.

Meacher painted a picture of spiralling oil costs as high as '$100 or $150 a barrel' creating massive social dislocation.

These difficulties could cause "war, revolutions and migration on a scale we have never before seen", he said.
