According to international law, the by most signed Geneva Conventions and normal decency, all collaborating people supporting the US junta's illegal wars are guilty of war crimes. Especially the formerly called 'journalists' which have sold themselves as propagandists and without whom the brainwashing and wars never would have been possible.

They must sit in the front rows of the war crimes tribunals everywhere on earth, and be punished for their inhumane treason of mankind. No capital punishment, but life time in jail with hard labor is what they all deserve. The war criminals should be similarly treated and not any better than is done to the for 99 percent falsely accused so called 'terrorists'.

Getting the same treatment as these Quislings are supporting now in for instance Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo. IS THE SURGE AN ORCHESTRATED DISTRACTION FROM THE REAL WAR PLAN?

A good case can be made that it is. The US Congress and media are focused on President Bush’s proposal for an increase of 20,000 US troops in Iraq, while Israel and its American neoconservative allies prepare an assault on Iran.

Commentators have expressed puzzlement over President Bush’s appointment of a US Navy admiral as commander in charge of the ground wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The appointment makes sense only if the administration’s attention has shifted from the insurgencies to an attack on Iran.

The Bush administration has recently doubled its aircraft carrier forces and air power in the Persian Gulf. According to credible news reports, the Israeli air force has been making practice runs in preparation for an attack on Iran.

Recently, Israeli military and political leaders have described Israeli machinations to manipulate the American public and their representatives into supporting or joining an Israeli assault on Iran. [Same as for NATO - HR]

Two US carrier task forces or strike groups will certainly congest the Persian Gulf. On January 9 a US nuclear sub collided with a Japanese tanker in the Persian Gulf. Two carrier groups will have scant room for maneuver.

THEIR PURPOSE IS EITHER TO PROVIDE THE MEANS FOR A HARD HIT ON IRAN OR TO SERVE AS SITTING DUCKS FOR A NEW PEARL HARBOR THAT WOULD RALLY AMERICANS BEHIND THE NEW WAR.

Whether our ships are hit by Iran in retaliation to an attack from Israel or suffer an orchestrated attack by Israel that is blamed on the Iranians, there are certainly far more US naval forces in the Persian Gulf than prudence demands.

Bush’s proposed surge appears to have no real military purpose. The US military opposes it as militarily pointless and as damaging to the US Army and Marine Corps. The surge can only be accomplished by keeping troops deployed after the arrival of their replacements. Moreover, the increase in numbers that can be achieved in this way are far short of the numbers required to put down the insurgency and civil war.

THE ONLY PURPOSE OF THE SURGE IS TO DISTRACT CONGRESS WHILE PLANS ARE IMPLEMENTED TO WIDEN THE WAR.

Weapons inspectors have failed to find a nuclear weapons program in Iran. Most experts say it would be years before Iran could make a weapon even if the Iranian government is actively working on a weapons program. Since the danger, if any, is years away, why is Israel so determined to attack Iran now?

The answer might be that Israel has the chance now. The Bush administration is in its pocket. The White House is working with neoconservatives, not with the American foreign policy community represented by the Iraq Study Group. Neoconservative propagandists are in influential positions in the media. The US Congress is intimidated by AIPAC. The correlation of forces are heavily in Israel’s favor.

Part of the Israeli/neoconservative plan has already been achieved with the destruction of civilian infrastructure and spread of sectarian strife in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon. If Iran can be taken out with a powerful air attack that might involve nuclear weapons, Syria would be isolated and Hezbollah would be cut off from Iranian supplies.

Israel has two years remaining to use its American resources to achieve its aims in the Middle East. How influential will Israel and the neoconservatives be with the next president in the wake of a US defeat in Iraq and Israeli defeat in Lebanon?

If the US withdraws its troops from Iraq, as the US military and foreign policy community recommend and as polls show the American public wants, the only effect of Bush’s Iraq invasion will have been to radicalize Muslims against Israel, the US, and US puppet governments in the Middle East. Extremist elements will tout their victory over the US, and the pressures on Israel to accept a realistic accommodation with Palestinians will be over-powering.

Now is the chance - the only chance - for Israel and the neoconservatives to achieve their goal of bringing Muslims to heel, a goal that they have been writing about and working to achieve for a decade.

THIS GOAL REQUIRES THE WAR TO BE WIDENED BY WHATEVER DECEIT AND TREACHERY NECESSARY TO BRING THE AMERICAN PUBLIC ALONG. [AND ALL OTHER BRAINWASHED PEOPLE IN THE US JUNTA'S COLONIES - HR]

The US Congress must immediately refocus its attention from the surge to Iran, the real target of Bush administration aggression.

US War Department Warns About Spy Coins

The US DoD report says the 'Canadian' coins with tiny radio frequency transmitters hidden inside were found planted on U.S. contractors with classified security clearances on at least three separate occasions.

FPF - Jan. 11th 2007 - In this case it's really 'Follow the money!' People acting as beacons and electronic chips making tracking possible without ‘traditional’ identifiers, like coins for shopping carts etc. was also discussed by the European (?) 'Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development', the OECD in Paris, during the meeting 'Florent Frederix' on October 5, 2005.*

In a story today about this tracking system by propaganda spreader 'AP' from Washington, the United States junta's war department (DoD) warns for coins with RFID's, those tiny radio frequency transmitters hidden inside. East German intelligence agents working for their Stasi, the 'state security service' (Staats Sicherheitsdienst), traced the movements of dissidents and monitored their meetings by spraying them with radioactive chemicals. Radioactivity checked by Geiger counters made it possible to follow the 'beeper.'*

The common saying that "Money is the root of all evil." gets a totally different meaning again... The phrase, by the way, first appeared in English circa 1000 A.D. and originated in the New Testament: "For the love of money is the root of all evil." Timothy, 6:10. - 'Old Tim' of course meant that money is power. And power generates profits...

POWER AND GREED!

It would be a much more accurate statement to say that the root of most 'evil' is man’s desire for status; either greed to increase one’s status, or jealousy over losing in the status game to others. Money is the most obvious measure of one’s status, so it’s easy to confuse the two, but they are certainly not the same thing at all. Money is just one way of keeping score. Blaming money for evil is like blaming the scoreboard for the baseball game. [*]

In a story by AP* from Washington the DoW warns: "Can the coins jingling in your pocket trace your movements? The Defense Department is warning its American contractor employees about a new espionage threat seemingly straight from Hollywood: It discovered Canadian coins with tiny radio frequency transmitters hidden inside.

In the U.S. government report, it said the mysterious coins were found planted on U.S. contractors with classified security clearances on at least three separate occasions between October 2005 and January 2006 as the contractors traveled through Canada. The U.S. report doesn't suggest who might be tracking American defense contractors or why. It also doesn't describe how the Pentagon discovered the ruse, how the transmitters might function or even which Canadian currency contained them.

Further details were secret, according to the U.S. Defense Security Service, which issued the warning to the Pentagon's classified contractors.

The government insists the incidents happened, and the risk was genuine. "What's in the report is true," said Martha Deutscher, a spokeswoman for the security service. "This is indeed a sanitized version, which leaves a lot of questions."

Top suspects, according to intelligence and technology experts: China, Russia or even France - all said to actively run espionage operations inside Canada with enough sophistication to produce such technology. THE CANADIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE SERVICE SAID IT KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE COINS.

"This issue has just come to our attention," CSIS spokeswoman Barbara Campion said. "At this point, we don't know of any basis for these claims." She said Canada's intelligence service works closely with its U.S. counterparts and will seek more information if necessary.

Experts were astonished about the disclosure and the novel tracking technique, but they quickly rejected suggestions Canada's government might be spying on American contractors.

THE INTELLIGENCE SERVICES OF THE TWO COUNTRIES ARE EXTRAORDINARILY CLOSE AND ROUTINELY SHARE SENSITIVE SECRETS.

"It would seem unthinkable," said David Harris, former chief of strategic planning for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. "I wouldn't expect to see any offensive operation against the Americans."

Harris said likely candidates include foreign spies who targeted Americans abroad or businesses engaged in corporate espionage. "There are certainly a lot of mysterious aspects to this," Harris said.

Experts said such tiny transmitters would almost certainly have limited range to communicate with sensors no more than a few feet away, such as ones hidden inside a doorway.

"I'm not aware of any (transmitter) that would fit inside a coin and broadcast for kilometers," said Katherine Albrecht, an activist who believes such technology carries serious privacy risks. "Whoever did this obviously has access to some pretty advanced technology."

Experts said hiding tracking technology inside coins is fraught with risks because the spy's target might inadvertently give away the coin or spend it buying coffee or a newspaper.

THEY AGREED, HOWEVER, THAT A COIN WITH A HIDDEN TRACKING DEVICE MIGHT NOT AROUSE SUSPICION IF IT WERE DISCOVERED LOOSE IN A POCKET OR BRIEFCASE.

"It wouldn't seem to be the best place to put something like that; you'd want to put it in something that wouldn't be left behind or spent," said Jeff Richelson, a researcher and author of books about the CIA and its gadgets. "It doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense."

Canada's physically largest coins include its $2 "Toonie," which is more than 1-inch across and thick enough to hide a tiny transmitter. The CIA has acknowledged its own spies have used hollow, U.S. silver-dollar coins to hide messages and film.

THE GOVERNMENT'S 29-PAGE REPORT WAS FILLED WITH OTHER ESPIONAGE WARNINGS.

It described unrelated hacker attacks, eavesdropping with miniature pen recorders and the case of a female foreign spy who seduced her American boyfriend to steal his computer passwords.

In another case, a film processing company called the FBI after it developed pictures for a contractor that contained classified images of U.S. satellites* and their blueprints. The photo was taken from an adjoining office window.
