FPF - Nijmegen - Nov. 24th - 2005 - A long time friend , former police officer and sometimes under-cover detective of the Dutch police force, yesterday - after 5 hours on location in Nijmegen - confirmed in the conversation concerning the Sévèke case that the so called 'police investigation' of the premeditated liquidation of political activist and journalist Louis Sévèke, last week on Tuesday night, must be classified as a 'cover up': it looks like most cases of State terrorism.

This experienced detective, (from a very well known dutch 'resistance' family during WW II), is retired, and has been living abroad since many years, so he is not brainwashed by any of the many dutch media using 'spin' instead of honest journalism. His assessment is based on the facts he looked at - from the murder scene - with experienced but 'fresh' eyes, and since he's Dutch he was able to see and read all material concerning the liquidation: all the 'signs on the wall'.

"The detectives in the special team working on this case, of course do understand for instance that one does not check for DNA or similar evidence in such an important murder case, first AFTER a thorough cleaning* of the crime scene by the municipal cleaning service. And after maybe thousands of people wandered through the crime scene visiting the central Post office here" he said.

"I think that many in the local police force - and in this 'special team' - secretly are ashamed doing this and taking part in this kind of cover up, but it's the same as usual: they're convinced they 'have no choice'. Reality for them is that if they don't follow orders but speak up, it's most probably the end of their career. They either end up 'on the beat' again, directing the traffic or loose their job under some pretext, being blacklisted thereafter. You have to tag along or you're out. It's the same here in Holland within the police force as in journalism. If you swim against the stream they'll 'drown' you. Like was done to Sévèke."

Concerning information on the possible killer, the former detective pointed out - what any normal human being also understands: ''that any available description of the killer and picture material at the disposal of the police, immediately should be made known to the public, and not - in a diverting form with different facts - a week later. By not putting a description, picture or even a composite drawing at the disposal of the public, you hamper the possibility of catching the killer, because the public mostly helps the police very well."

Police had pictures of the assassin already a week ago

The fact that even the right wing dutch industry's weekly 'Elsevier' - today a week ago - published an article entitled "Murder of activist Sévèke is a liquidation" - was seen as a confirmation of what many - based on the appalling facts - feared to be true: the murder was apparently the elimination of one of the strongest legal critics, who for many was one of the best opponents of the present malignant neocon regime in The Netherlands. According to the article in Elsevier: 'Also a young women the day after the killing supplied to the police on Wednesday (Nov. 16th) a picture of the assassin. She was a witness on Tuesday night and made the picture with her mobile phone." [end quote]

Some papers in Holland - like the weekly 'Elsevier'* - the day after the killing reported: " The murder of political activist Louis Sévèke (41) has all the hallmarks of a planned liquidation. The police force in Nijmegen since Wednesday afternoon has pictures at it's disposal on which the man who did it can be seen. It is shown how the perpetrator from up close fires two bullets at Sévèke. According to witnesses it was remarkable how calm and controlled the attack was performed. After all the 'investigation' being done and hearing more than a hundred 'witnesses', for nearly a week the dutch public was NOT informed and did not even know whether the assassin was a dwarf or a giant, what he looked like or how he was dressed. Not even a composite kit drawing of the murderer was offered, indicating that there was no real wish to ever catch the killer. It was seen as a method to avoid selling more lies when the police decided last week 'to keep radio silence' - meaning not saying a word anymore.

Apart from some confusing tidbits for the national smokescreen, offered to 'crime watch' programs on dutch national and commercial TV, with which they - contrary to the law and their obligations to inform their paymasters, the public - said to have 'agreements' concerning the information offered. The latter case, about those hitherto unknown and strange illegal agreements, is a matter of investigation by the parliament, of which nobody by the way expects anything honest, as the latest polls show.

The silence in most major (foreign owned) media was - and still is - deafening. It further cements the idea that the whole story about the elimination of this fiery opponent of certain dutch criminals should disappear as fast as is possible in the dutch 'Memory Hole', and again as usual with collaboration of most of the media.

Louis Sévèke is dead, and so is most honest journalism in The Netherlands.

Politically liquidated.
